The PONTOON 21 Eight Braid WX8 series is manufactured using technology that ensures full automation of the process without direct human involvement. This made it possible to improve the production process: fibers from a certain type of molecularly oriented polyethylene are first dyed and coated with a protective composition, and only then are they woven under a certain tension value, that is, tension. The absence of manual work and high-quality precision manufacturing allowed for maximum accuracy and reduced fishing line costs compared to traditional manufacturing methods.
8-strand braided lines are known to be rounder and more responsive than 4-strand braided lines. However, this always had the disadvantage that they are more fragile than 4-strand lines, so 8-strand braided lines were mainly used for spinning in the middle of the water or on the surface of the water, or in places where there is little or no snagging at all. But with the newly developed Eight Braid, on which many mechanical and practical tests were carried out, it was proven that the damage tolerance became much higher, so the tensile strength and reliability were also increased.
