Sphere Cheburashka
Using the Cheburaska jig heads, we can quickly and easily create a twister head for our rubber fish rig.
The Cheburaska jig head is a lead head that can be any shape. The most common is the spherical chebu head, but there are boots or bullets, tablets or ovals, and there are also "bush-jumping" versions that easily penetrate everything.
Due to its simple and great design, we can quickly change different weights and hook sizes as well as hook types (e.g. traditional single-pronged lug hooks, offset hooks, bush jumping hooks, etc.)
Its use is as follows:
first pull the steel wire out of the cheburashka head. Hook or thread the selected hook into the larger eye of the steel wire so that the tip of the hook points upwards when you put the steel wire back into the head of the cheburashka. Then we push the steel wire back into the cheburashka, naturally with the narrower end forward. If we have connected the hook with the head of the cheburashka of the right weight for us as mentioned above, all we have to do is attach the rubber fish or other plastic creature to the hook and the cheburash rig can go into the clip of our line.
The cheburash rig has many more advantages than the traditional jighead rig.
One of these advantages is the quick weight change of the head, without having to constantly pull our soft rubber fish or plastic bait off the hook, which will fray and tear from frequent pulling and pinning.
In addition, for fishing in deep waters, we can prepare the desired weight and hook combination in seconds, even with small baits.
Another important advantage is that our rubber fish or other plastic baits move much more lifelike and with a greater wobble than traditional jig heads, so it is better able to attract the attention of predatory fish even in the case of more cautious specimens.
For floating or floating rubber fish and plastic baits, a jig rig is practically essential, as this is the only way the bait can float on the free-moving hook.
Today, many manufacturers make extra-large hooks specifically for cheburash rigs, which we especially recommend for this method. On a hook with a large lug, whether it is a traditional single or offset hook, it can sway much better and our bait is much more provocative in any case.
The cheburaskás jig rig is suitable for spinning fishing for practically all domestic predatory fish, be it zander or volga zander, pike or catfish, or even soft-mouthed fish such as perch, halibut, bream, chub and black bass.
The colored and painted cheburaska jig head versions can be a good choice when the predatory fish are completely inactive and have no appetite.
Due to their design, the elongated and tapered Cheburaska jigs are an excellent choice when fishing in snags or thick vegetation with rubber fish and various soft plastic baits or creatures, crabs, etc.
Since the vast majority of predatory fish usually hide behind underwater snags, trees, stumps or thick vegetation, we can now be much more successful with these high-quality all-penetrating "bush-jumping" lures.
In summary, the cheburashka rig is a reliable and efficient tool that helps in successful spinning and predatory fishing. Whether you are an amateur or a professional angler, it is guaranteed to increase your chances of catching and provide memorable experiences on the waterfront.
